In LS1 my class did a printed photo of someone or ourselves, so we made copies with 4 colours of sheets and we then got a frame and glued our protraits in.
This was really fun to do and Mr, Johnson showed up how to do it with care.

Stanley Yelnats is a protagonist in the novel and movie “Holes” he thinks he got the curse of bad luck from his “no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather but in reality its him…
To learn more I think you should go to your local library or PBS library and read the book by “Loius Sachar”
Today in LS1 we’ve been reading this amazing book “Holes” by the author “Louis Sachar” LS1 has really enjoyed reading the book about a curse upon the ancestors and previous family members got the “no good pig stealing” grandfather and Stanly yelnats (A palindrome name) was the victim of this scene. Stanley was walking down somewhere maybe in the entrance of a alleyway suddenly a pair of sneakers “fell” from the sky, then polices came, where he was standing there with the sneakers maybe at the wrong place at the wrong time? To read the whole passage make sure to check “Holes by Louis Sachar”!

This is a recreation of the yellow-spotted Lizard by the books “Holes” given the details of the lizard we made our imagination of how the lizard looks like.

Two weeks ago LS1 did “Pop Art” and the other week we made our very own “Ink prints” that we made with cardboard woods or know as “wood sheets” our class thought this was very fun although the process was a bit hard it was so fun! So if your interested in making one i’ll show how to make it step by step.
Stuff you’ll need- Wood sheet picture of your face, pencil or pen (it’s optional) hot glue gun, paint. (any colour you’d like)
Step 1. Buy a wood sheet. (if you already have one dont buy another one)
Step 2.Print a picture of your face. (if you want to do your whole body you can aswell)
Step 3. Now turn the picture around and start scribbling away but try to press hardly on the pencil or pen so that it can cover up the whole page.
Step 4. Turn the paper around and grab your wood sheet and put your picture on top of it so it aces you then you’ll have to start tracing your face.
Step 5. After your done with tracing it grab the wood sheet from under the picture and wiat for the hot glue gun to set, while it’s setting organise the colour of paint you’d like to use.
Step 6. Trace the picture of yourself with the hot glue gun once your finished and its dry move onto the next step.
Step 7. Now your going to grab a roller or paint brush then start colouring the potrait with the colour you like to have.
Step 8. Now press a paper on your potrait then voola its finished.
